    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Super easy and delicious carbonara. I used gluten free pasta spirals and it worked perfectly.

Lovely sauce. It minces the onion extremely small and I used a spanish onion and sundried tomatoes so had a beautiful pink sauce. Flavour was amazing. I didn't thermomix the bacon as I don't like it, just cooked it seperately and used already cooked chicken that I wanted to use up and used Vetta pasta as I am a diabetic. Never will I yearn over take away pasta again! This was as good as any I've had. Thank you!!

I tried this for the first time and the family LOVED it! I didn't have chicken stock so replaced that with a teaspoon of vegetable stock and added 100g of chopped sundried tomatoes. Mine was very gluggy, possibly I added too much pasta? Next time I will try it with pene pasta as it is easier to work with in the Thermomix. I also instinctively put the blades on reverse so not to shred the chicken. A delicious meal the whole family enjoyed. Thank you for the recipie.

Oh Yum 😍- easy and certainly adaptable if you have things in the pantry (mushroom, fresh asparagus etc) that brings on another dimension ( if you really must) great flavours & an easy recipe 👌🏻

A family favourite in my house great for a quick yummy meal. I would say I always put my blades on reverse at step 6, so I don't get shredded chicken.
