Ingredients
- 800 g ripe tomatoes, halved
- 3 cloves garlic
- 150 g brown onion, 2 onions peeled and halved
- 200 g Red Apples cored & quartered, = 2 apples
- 50 g medjool dates (pitted)
- 2 --- pitted prunes
- 100 g brown sugar, or to taste
- 1 tbsp smoked sweet paprika
- 50 g Worcestershire sauce
- 50 g tomato paste
- 150 g apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp Celtic or Himalayan salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper

Place Tomatoes, garlic, onion, apple, dates and prunes into TM bowl and chop for 10 seconds on speed 7.Add all remaining ingredients and mix for 10 seconds on speed 7.Cook for 40 minutes / Varoma / sp 1 with MC removed and simmering basket in it's place to reduce spatter whilst allowing reduction of liquid.Blend for 1 min / speed 9, gradually increasing speed from 1 to 9.
Pour into hot sterilized jars.
Tip
Perfect Pizza topping Sauce.
I use Gluten Free Worcestershire Sauce.
You can replace the prunes with fresh plums when in season.
Rapadura or coconut sugar can also be used in place of the brown sugar.

made this today as a piza sauce, omitted the tomato paste as was all out and also halved the recipe, turned out great thanks

Tastes pretty good. Sweet and tangy. Is it really 50 dates or 50g of dates?
Have made this twice now and it's fantastic. We just use it as a very tasty tomato sauce. Fail safe too.
