    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

    NettyMc:
It's just the formatting of the text in the recipe! So the first number is the speed, the second number is the number of the next step ... so Speed 8, Step 3. Add olive oil etc...
    Hope that makes sense!

I need some help with this recipe, please.

    The Speeds are listed as:

    Speed 83
    Speed 14
    Speed 15
    Speed 26

What does this convert to in a TM5 as I can't find anything on the net.

I want to make some for the family for Christmas.

Hi, I found the position of the full stops very confusing. There needs to be a full stop at the end of each step and if necesary one to indicate the next step number. I substuted the saltanas for dried cranberries, as I realised that I had run out of saltanas and had seen other recipes using cranberries. Otherwise I found the recipe easy to follow and produced a very fragrant & tasty chutney.

I made this 3 times and doubled the recipe each time. We were moving interstate and I was running out of items so I changed the vinegary of whatever sort I had , the coconut to rapidura and sometimes added currants. Each time it turned out Delicious

    Ummmmm Yummmmm!!

This is the best Ive tasted. I added half a tea spoon of dried Chilli flakes and it has a great little kick. I also left out mixed spice and added tumeric and ground cumin seeds instead. Its briliant  tmrc_emoticons.8)

    Thank you

When do you add the dates to this mix.

When do you include dates.  I finished cooking and found dates still on bench!!!!  Smells good though.
