Tip
It has taken me a long time to create a sauce that is tasty, thick and full of goodness. I hope you enjoy it as much as the family and I do!

Great recipe! I usually use another pasta sauce recipe but wanted to mix things up. I think I need to add a bit more garlic and herbs next time but it was still very nice. I used a mix of canned and fresh tomatoes and cooked a bit longer to thicken a bit more based on comments. Doubled the recipe to freeze half. Would make again
Absolutely loved this. Found myself wanting spaghetti Bolognese but no dolmio in the pantry. Good old google led me to your recipe. This made two jars and it's so lovely and thick, and oh so tasty.
Could you tell me how many this will serve and the nutritional values, please?
Oh yum! This was delicious. Great way to use up an abundance of fresh tomatoes. Were given plenty of tomatoes that a family member grows, this recipe and tomato soup are fab ways to use them. Thank you
Ok so I pushed my luck and tripled this recipe as I had a glut of homegrown tomatoes and it all just fit in my thermo. I added some homegrown chives, bay leaves and a zucchini. I added a little bit of cornflour at the end as it is a bit runny. I left out the cream as didn't want to store with cream. It does go a bright orange colour but that is just oxidation of the tomatoes. Tastes amazing. I put in small plastic disposable containers and freeze. A triple recipe makes around 5 x 500g containers. When defrosting the mixture separates but it all comes back together smoothly when reheatedh. Thankyou what a lovely recipe!! Ps when cooking I left basket on (instead of MC) all the time as otherwise it spatters too much.
It was nice but needed an extra bite to make it tastier. Next time I will not add the cream as did not like the texture
Would make again but add extra flavours.
Ok for a base sauce
My family loved this sauce, I'll never buy the jar stuff again!b Thank you
Lovely flavour but not quite as thick as I would have liked, will probably use a bit of cornflower to thicken it and serve with gnocchi.

Fantastic recipe - do yourself a favour and try!
i like to follow recipes first time to the letter and then tweak however I has a carrot grated from a previous meal and added to this dish and added garlic to 4 cloves to boost immunity .. winner and saved
there is a similar-ish recipe (tomato based with cream) in the edc but I love how this one has a whole capsicum and has a brilliant colour
well done on a great recipe
I make this sauce each time we have spaghetti or ravioli! It’s amazing. Also sometimes I don’t have enough fresh tomatoes so I use a can of diced tomatoes- it still works !
