Made as per recipe and used 1/4 cup of half lemon/half lime juice and my honey was Orange flower honey that I got at a local farmer's market.  Husband loved it and so I am about to make my second batch to preserve.  Beutiful colour and would make a great gift.  Thank you!

I made this today without the chilli and only 150g honey and it is lovely. It cooked down heaps more though and is more the consistancy of tomato paste.

Next time I will only use 100g honey and cook for less time.

Thanks for a great recipe tmrc_emoticons.)

    BEAUTIFUL!

I made this last night in preparation for a BBQ, it was soooo sticky and sweet and i added more chilli than the recipe said which gave it a real kick.

I cooked it exactly to the instructions but i think next time i'll check the consistency before the end time is up. The jam was so thick that it only made 1 x 270ml jar and a bit.

Not a cheap recipe if you don't grow own tomatoes or have your own beehives like we do. Tomatoes were $7.98 per kilo in Coles and the honey was worth $10

Delicious and easy!  I halved the recipe and cooked the mixture on the stovetop after using the TM to chop the tomatoes (only because I needed to cook something else in the TM at the same time). Will definitely make this again.

I always just boil my jars for 5mins turn upside down, put the jam or sauce in while jars warm put lids on tight turn upside down always be careful.because of the amount of honey, it will keep for a long time i usually use one straight away and keep other in pantry till you open

This looks lovely.  Do you know how long the sauce will keep in sterilised jars?
