The finished product did not look like the picture at all. The sprouts were shredded, however this was not a bad thing. My 1 year old loved them and I'm not usually a fan of Brussel sprouts but I enjoyed this. I added a handful of green beans. Very tasty recipe

    Very Tasty Recipe

I tried this recipe and have to say was disappointed.  I had quartered the sprouts and I thought I had followed the recipe to the letter however, the sprouts were still very raw and I don't like raw sprouts. I cooked them for as long again but then they were mushy and it was rather unattractive to look at.  Any ideas as to where I went wrong and are British sprouts different from Australian ones?  Thank you for the idea however, I might try it by chopping the sprouts first.
