Sugared Walnuts
- 500-1000 grams Walnut Halves raw
- 400 grams white sugar
- 120 grams Boiling water
- 10 grams Butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 heaped teaspoon salt

I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
1. Spread Walnuts over a large oven tray and warm in the oven on 150 C.
2. Put all other ingredients into TM bowl and cook 15min/Varoma/Speed 3 with MC on a tilt.
3. Add warm walnuts (1kg will only just fit!) and stir 2min/Rev/Speed Soft "Gentle stir setting"
4. Spread over baking paper lined oven tray to cool.
5. When cold, keep in container/ziplock bag in freezer.
Tip
Great snack. Use to top cakes, desserts, crumbles. Or our favourite use - toss over a salad of mesclun, soft cheese, and grapes.

This is so easy and really nice, have made quite a few times with different amounts of nuts and it always turns out good
Sorry, it is 10g butter (2 teaspoons) only.

This recipe looks lovely. Just wondering if you could clarify how much butter you need. Also, do you think this would work well with mixed (unsalted) nuts for a sweet pre-Chrissie nibble? Thanks.
