Recipe's preparation

  1. Add bread crusts and mix 10 sec/speed 7. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
  2. Add carrot and zucchini and blend 5 seconds/speed 7. Scrape down sides.
  3. Add mince, egg, salt, pepper, stock paste, paprika, garlic powder, onion flakes, tomato paste and reserved breadcrumbs. Mix with aid of spatula 20 seconds/speed 6.
  4. Place puff pastry sheets on a flat surface. Cut each sheet in half. Using the spatula, divide the mixture evenly between the 6 pieces of pastry. Using a spoon or our spatula, spread the mixture out into a rouch log shape across the middle of each piece of pastry (length-ways). Roll the pastry length-ways and enclose the edges underneath. Place on a baking tray and pierce holes in the top using a fork. Repeat with remaining pastry and filling. Bake at 190 degrees for 25 minutes until slightly golden.

Tip

You can make these into "Sausage Scrolls" by spreading the mixture across the entire pastry sheet and leaving a 1cm gap on one side. Roll each sheet toward the uncovered edge and seal with a small amount of water on the tip of your fingers. Place onto a baking tray and sprinkle with some grated cheese then bake until the cheese is lightly golden. Enjoy!

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
