Recipe's preparation

  1. ** Check the ingredients and method on your TM6 before starting the recipe, sometimes when bringing over a recipe it can be muddled **
Pre heat oven to 180.C and line a slice pan
  2. Weigh in 255g softened butter and 130g sugar. Mix 10 seconds speed 5. Scrape the sides and repeat mixing time and speed.
  3. Weigh in flour, baking powder and vanilla.
Mix 10 seconds speed 6. Scrape sides and repeat until combined.
  4. Press mixture into lined tin - reserving a small amount to crumble onto the caramel layer.
    Bake for 12-15 minutes
  5. Wash and dry mixing bowl
  6. Next we are going to make condensed milk (you can skip this step and empty x2 tins into mixing bowl)
  7. Weigh in the butter and water. Heat for 3 minutes at 120.C on speed 2 using the simmering basket in place of the measuring cup
  8. Add sugar, milk powder and salt. Insert measuring cup and blend for 45 seconds speed 10
  9. And you've just made condensed milk! Also lower the oven temperature to 160.C
  10. Add to the condensed milk 225g butter and 60g golden syrup. Heat for 5 minutes at 90.C speed 2
  11. Pour over caramel mixture to the base. Crumble over remaining base mixture. Bake slice for 45-55 minutes at 160.C
  12. Once out of the oven, sprinkle over chocolate chips. Let the slice cool completely before removing from tin and cutting tmrc_emoticons.)

    Recipe is created for
    TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
