Ingredients
TM6 fermentation yoghurt
- 1000 grams Long Life Milk
- 50-100 grams milk powder
- 20 grams Vanilla Bean Paste
- 150 grams yoghurt
- 0-50 grams sugar, optional and to tase
- 400 grams water
- 30 grams lemon juice

- To ensure bowl is clean, add 1 litre of water and 30 grams of white vinegar set to kettle mode "Kettle" . Once boiled rinse with cold water and dry with paper towel to avoid tea towel fluff.
- Add 1000g of long life milk
- Add 50-100g of milk powder
- Add 20g of vanilla bean paste and sugar (amount to taste)
- Add 150g of yoghurt
- Time 3 minutes Temperature 40 and speed 2
- Time 10 seconds Speed 4
- Ensure mixture is combined no lumps, if not repeat previous step
- Pour mixture into jars/containers/white varoma. Place in varoma dish.
- Rinse mixing bowl
- Add approx 400g of water and 30g of lemon juice.
- Mixing bowl lid on without measuring cup, place varoma and lid on top.
Access fermentation mode "Ferment"
set for 10 hours at 70 degrees
Tip
I use the Westgold brand long life milk and milk powder, I have found I get the best results with these products. This brand is available from Woolworths.
Sugar and vanilla is optional, have a play around with amounts to suit your tastebuds.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
