    What is bunch cream?

  • 5. August 2015 - 07:51

Hmm, just read the label on the Daiso green tea. An 11 g sachet contains 10.6 g of sugar. Possibly not a very high concentration of tea, then! I've seen real matcha for sale in a Japanese shop, very expensive!

I discovered you can get green tea powder at Daiso, so its $2.80 for 5 sachets. It's a blend of tea and sugar, which in this recipe should work fine. I'm trying it today!

    I'd like to know :

    • 2 level tbsp Green tea powder/matcha powder, Mixed with boiling water ( How much boiling water?)
    • 4 level tablespoon Boiling hot water, Mixed with Matcha( how much matcha?)

Or did you mean, 2 tbsp green tea powder mixed with 4 tbsp of boiling hot water?

    Hi nannykat,

We have seen green tea/matcha powder being sold at our local Oriental shop. Check your local oriental shop and to see if they stock it.
