Ingredients

Base

  • 1 package Milk arrowroot biscuits
  • 100 g slivered almonds
  • 100 g Almond flakes
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup
  • 1 can Condensed milk (400g)
  • 100 g Butter

Topping

  • 100 g Copha
  • 50 g Butter
  • 400 g Nutella

Recipe's preparation

    Base
  1. 1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees (160 fan forced) and grease and line a 30cm x 20cm slice tin.2. Spread the almonds over two oven trays and bake them in the oven for 5 minutes or until toasted. Keep and eye on them, ovens vary and they can go from toasted to burnt really quickly.

    3. Process biscuits into crumbs - speed 8 for 10 seconds. Place in a large bowl with toasted nuts.

    4. Put butter, golden syrup and condense milk in TM bowl and heat 80 degrees, 3min, speed 2.

    5. Pour into bowl with biscuit crumbs and nuts, stir until combined and then press into prepared tin until smooth

  2. Topping
  3. 1. Melt butter and copha together for 4 minutes, 80 degrees, speed 2.

    2. Add Nutella and mix for 30 seconds, speed 2.

    3. Pour ontop of biscuit layer and refridgerate for at least 2 hours, prior to cutting into small squares.

    This is an amazing slice! I cut it quite small as it is so rich. Most of my friends found that 2 pieces at a time is great... 3 can be too much!! So yummy thanks again!!
