Beef in Stout
Tip
Cooking time for meat may vary depending on the cut of meat used. I cooked mine for the full 60 minutes to ensure the meat was nice and tender.
Delicious served with mashed potato. I actually served it with celeriac and potato mash which is basically the recipe in your Every Day Cook book but I used half potato and half celeriac. It gives a beautiful flavor.
Place in your Thermo server while you cook your potato

Easy peasy and so very yummy! Next time I'll mix the flour with water before adding
I only had 500g of beef, I added 2 quartered potatoes and about the same of pumpkin. So made this dish
Yummy, thanks Nicky, great recipe. Will add this to my list
Hi - I've made this one twice now. It's super tasty. I put a handful of soaked pearl barley into it and put my frozen peas into the basket on the top for the last 30 minutes. Works a treat! Thanks

I cooked mine for longer and it was delicious with mash. I will cut the meat up more carefully next time

Fabulous! I would have given it 6 stars if I could! I might try this in a pie next. Yum.
Oh and for the person who asked below, I used approx 300ml of stout and it worked beautifully. I also cooked mine for 50 mins.
Could you please confirm how much stout goes in this please??
