Add varoma tray with chicken. Cook 10 mins varoma spd 1.
Add mixed veges to varoma. If lid does not go neatly onto varoma, hold lid on both ends, and shake gently to help the lower the veges enough so it does. Continue cooking 15 mins varoma spd 1.

Add cauliflower to bowl, and blend 1 min spd 9 MC on.
Serve soup, and pour all but approx 250g of soup from the bowl. Add 100g potato and tomato paste, and blend 20 secs spd 5. Repeat if it is not smooth. Pour over the chicken in the thermoserver, leaving a few tablespoons in the bowl.
Add remaining potato and sweet potato to the bowl, and blend 30 secs spd 5.
Serve immediately, or add to the thermoserver to keep warm until ready to eat.
Tip
inspired by the Chicken Veloute meal
To reduce the number of servings, use 250g each of potato and sweet potato instead of 500g, and omit the first 10 minutes cooking time. Adjust the amount of chicken as required.

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
