Ingredients
French onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup Onion Flakes
- 1tsp Onion powder
- 1/2tsp onion salt
- 1tsp Garlic powder
- 1tsp salt
- 1/4tsp pepper
- 1tsp Dried parsley
Slow cooked chops
- 1 onion, Thickly sliced
- 4 celery stalks, Thickly sliced
- Lamb Chops, (approx 4x forequarter or 8x loin)
- Approx 3tbs french onion soup mix, (use more or less depending on your liking)
- 2 cups chicken stock, (or 2 cups water & 1tbs stock paste)

- Add all french onion soup mix ingredients to bowl. Blitz 20 seconds / speed 8. Place in jar.
- Place blade cover in bowl. Layer chops, onion, cellery, and french onion mix. Pour chicken stock over top.
- Slow Cook Mode / 98 degrees / 4.5hrs (reduce temp and increase time if desired.)
- Remove chops, onion, and celery from mixing bowl and keep warm in thermoserver. CAREFULLY remove blade cover with tongs. Use thicken mode and a little flour to thicken sauce into a gravy. Or keep as a soup!
- Serve with mashed potatos and steamed veg.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
