Butter Chicken
- 1 tablespoon Light Oliver Oil
- 1 piece brown onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp Ground Coriander
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp tumeric
- 400 g butternut pumpkin
- 0.5 litre chicken stock, or vegetable stock
- 140 g tomato paste
- 500 g chicken breast, Cut into 4cm pieces
- 180 g Low fat Greek Yoghurt
- 1.5 tsp cornflour
- 200 grams long grain basmati rice
- 900 g water

- Add onion, garlic and ginger - chop 5 seconds / Speed 7 - scrape down sides
Add oil and cook for 4 min / 100 deg.C / Speed 1
Add spices - cook for 1 min / 100 deg.C / Speed 3
Add roughly chopped pumpkin - chop 5 seconds / Speed 7 - scrape down sides
Add stock and tomato past - cook for 8 minutes / 90 deg.C / Speed 2
Puree mixture - 10 seconds / Speed 9 (increased gradually)
Add chicken - cook for 8 minutes / 90 deg.C / Reverse Speed 2.5
Spoon 2 tbs of the sauce into a heatproof bowl. Whisk in yoghurt and cornflour until smooth and combined.
Add mixture - cook for 7 minutes / 80 deg.C / Reverse Speed 2
Cooking Rice
Measure rice in TM basket, while placed in TM bowl.
Rinse rice. Add basket back into TM bowl.
Add 900g water into TM bowl. Cook 15 minutes, Varoma, speed 4.
