Ingredients

  • 20 grams coconut oil
  • 10 grams cornflour
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 5 grams Curry Powder or Garam Masala
  • 600 grams Chicken thighs or breast
  • 2 small sweet potato
  • 80 grams red lentils
  • 400 mls of Coconut Milk
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Stock Concentrate (EDC)
  • 250 mls water
  • 175 grams frozen peas

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place Garlic and Onion in the mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/ Speed 7

    Add Coconut Oil, Curry Powder and Cornflour mixed with 50ml of water to the jug.  Saute 3 min/ Varoma/ Speed 1

    Add Coconut Milk, Water, Vege Stock Concentrate, Lentils and Sweet Potato cut into small cubes into the jug.  Cook 10 mins/ 100 degrees/ Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" / Speed 1

    Add Chicken and cook 10 mins/ 100 Degrees/ Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" / Speed 1

    Add Peas and cook 6 mins/100 degrees/ Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" / Speed 1

    Serve with cooked rice

    I'm sorry but this dish didn't work for me. 5 grams of garam masala was way too much and very artificial/powdery tasting in the dish. It's all I could taste. Closed lid"Closed lid" tmrc_emoticons.(

    Very yummy. Family loved it. I didn't have sweet potato so I used pumpki. If you want a thicker sauce, maybe add more cornflour? Will cook this again. Thanks for the recipe!
