For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

Such an amazing recipe, really makes use of the thermomix. Thank you !
Nice and easy! Will definitely make this again. Love the way the potato cooks in the thermomix.
This is a really easy and fabulous recipe! I also added a packet of French Onion Soup....just because I have always liked this flavour, and it worked really well. Thank you for sharing!
Loved it! You have turned a weekend onlu dish into an easy breasy weeknight dish. Delish!
Great recipe, I would never have thought to cook the sliced potato directly in the bowl, but mine turned out perfectly. Started with 15 minutes and then added another 3 minutes until the potatoes were just cooked but not too soft.
Also used sour cream (100g) and milk (50g) as that's all I had in the fridge. And shallots instead of leek.
Will definitely use this recipe again.
Great recipe, thank you for sharing

Very tasty, i added a teaspoon of edc vegetable stock and 60g of bacon. Next time i'd just cook the potatoes for 15 minutes maximum, 20 minutes turned them to mush :/ still nice though
