  • 110 g plain flour
  • 100 g Whole blanched almonds
  • Zest of 1 orange

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees C. Line a baking tray with baking paper

    Place dried orange rind into TM bowl and chop for 10 seconds at speed 10

  2. Add sugar,and eggs to TM bowl and mix for 30 seconds on  speed 5

  3. Add flours and almonds and miss for 10 seconds on Reverse Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" + speed 3

  4. Set dial to lid closed position Closed lid"Closed lid" and knead for 30 seconds on interval speed Dough mode"Dough mode"

  5. Form into a 25cm log and place on the prepared tray and bake for 35-40 minutes, util lightly golden and firm. Cool on a wire rack.

  6. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Using a serrated knife, cut the baked log into 5mm thick slices. Arrange the slices on the prepared trays and bake for 10 minutes, or until the biscotti are dry and crisp. Leve to cool on the trays before storing in an airtight container

    Halved recipe, easy to make. I used lemon instead of orange rind and also reduced sugar to 130g as suggested in previous comment.

    Lovely recipe. I will reduce sugar to 130g next time as it's too sweet for my tastebuds.
