- 20 g coconut oil
- 100 g Maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 25 g cocoa
- pinch salt
- 260 g rolled oats
- 50 g Shredded coconut

Preheat oven to 150 degrees and line tray with baking paper or silicone mat.
Add coconut oil and maple syrup to bowl for 2 minutes, 60 degrees, speed 2 or until melted.
Add cocoa, vanilla and salt and mix speed 3 for 10 seconds.
Add oats and coconut and mix "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 3 for 10 seconds, using spatula to assist in mixing.
Tip
Coconut oil can be replaced with butter and maple syrup with honey.

Nate's Mum: sorry for the VERY late reply, I have only tried with maple syrup and honey. Let me know how you go if you used golden syrup.

I used Caocao, and I think I’d try with honey in lieu of maple syrup too
I added a really good handful of slivered almonds with the wet mix before roasting, it was lovely.
I tried it hot out of the oven - It smelt amazing and I couldn’t wait for it to cool.
Can u sub golden syrup for the maple syrup?

Made this on the weekend, it's so good! I didn't have cocoa, so used cacao instead. Delicious when eaten with raspberries on top!
