Tip

Cooking time for meat may vary depending on the cut of meat used.  I cooked mine for the full 60 minutes to ensure the meat was nice and tender.

Delicious served with mashed potato.  Place in your Thermo server while you cook your potato

Smile Made this tonight and it was lovely although a bit runny so will add less water next time.
I have frozen the extra gravy for meat stock.

    Great winter dish.

omitted the water (not on purpose) and it turned out really nice and thick.
Didn't have any potatoes, so served on rice

Really yummy even the kids liked it. but far to much sauce so next time would not add the extra water which I think would be spot on

JanineT: mix the flour with the water before adding it to the Thermomix, this should help

It was lovely, added some celery. Will cut up carrots more chunkier next time as they disappeared lol....only had 600g of diced beef which fed 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Did not add water and didn’t need too. Cooked for the 60min then an extra 10mins waiting for spuds.

Thank you dtotheaisy, for this tip. Cooking up a storm today, and this one is on this list with the rave reviews. Thank you Nicky for sharing. I can pop it into the slow cooker and get onto the next thing. Will let you know how it goes.

Full of flavour and easy to make. Not sure what happened but the flour ended up in one big lump when the dish had finished cooking. Any ideas how I can stop this happening next time?? Will definitely make again, but as noted by others , will reduce the water just a little. 😀😀😀
