  • 5 free range eggs, (4 eggs if XL size)
  • 100 grams bacon
  • 1 Avocado flesh
  • 10 grams Baby Spinach Leaves
  • 100 grams chicken broth
  • 50 grams coconut oil
  • 900 grams hot water
  • Salt, Pepper, Herbs, Optional
  • extra bacon for garnish, Optional

Recipe's preparation

  1. place bacon in TM bowl. Chop 4 sec spd 4

    Add coconut oil. cook 4 min 100 deg spd 1.5Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"  

    **IF YOU WANT BACON IN PIECES REMOVE NOW AND CLEAN BOWL. IF YOU WANT IT MIXED THROUGH EGGS LEAVE IT IN THE BOWL**

     

     

  2. Add eggs, avocado, spinach, chicken broth, and any optional seasoning to TM bowl

    Blitz for 10 seconds spd 8-9, or until mixture is fluffy and spinach is blended as desired (i.e. chunks for adults, disappeared for kids)

    **Place any pieces of bacon back in bowl and mix a few seconds Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"  spd 1-2**

     

     

  3. Wet some baking paper and line the varoma tray with it

    Pour the mixture into the varoma tray

    Fill TM bowl with 900ml hot water

    Put Varoma in place and cook 24 minutes, varoma spd 2.5-3.

     

     

  4. Check to ensure cooked. Should be fluffy. Carefully put cooked omlette onto plate and serve any way you like!

    *in a roll with extra bacon on top (pictured)

    *cut into pieces using fun kids cutters shapes (animals, stars etc)

    *folded with extra topping of choice in the centre

     

Tip

** Can make muffins for school lunches just adjust the time cooked.

**if you don't want to use chicken broth, perhaps replace with coconut milk or cream

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
