Ingredients

Vi's Coriander & Lime - TM6 'Rice Cooking' mode

  • 200 grams basmati rice
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 Zest Lime
  • 480 grams water
  • 2 tsp chicken stock paste
  • 15 grams coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 lime juice, freshly squeezed, for after cooking

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place simmering basket onto mixing bowl and weigh rice. Rinse rice until water runs clear.
  2. Add to the mixing bowl coconut oil, salt, zest, coriander, water, stock, and rinsed rice.
  3. Give all the ingredients a really good stir.
  4. Lid on, with simmering basket on top of lid.
    Select 'RICE COOKING' mode and turn on.
  5. Sous-vide"Sous-vide" IMPORTANT....Once your rice is completed, immediately place the rice into a thermoserver, add lime juice and fluffy up with a fork.

    (**I stress the immediately because if your rice sits in the TM bowl it will continue to cook and might make your rice gloggy.)

    Enjoy.
