Was lucky enough to have some fresh Blue Manna crabs to replace the tin crab. Put in extra crab and it was very tasty.
Thankyou for the comments re the amount of crab meat.
Definitely add an extra can if you like it a bit more meaty, or even cooked peeled prawns or flaked fish.

Nice texture and corn flavour, but I could hardly taste the crab. Definitely need more than 170gm can of crab meat.
Really nice flavours. Could do with a bit more crab meat I found the 170g can was a little small.
The family really loved this, it was delicious. I've definitely saved this one under a new category of favourite soups!
Lovely soup. Very warming and hearty. I used a 170g can of "fresh" crab meat. Thanks for another great recipe, Monica.

Yes that's the size I used. (170g) You can always add extra if you like 👌

Hi Monica, Just wondering what speed in step 3? I did 2. Kind regards, Nancy P.S. Will post again once this is made!
I would like to make this soup but wondering how big a tin of crab meat do you use. Where I come from they only sell very small tins, probably only about 170g worth.
