Recipe's preparation

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.

    2. Add garlic clove to mixing bowl and mince for 3 secs on Turbo. Scrape down mixing bowl.

    3. Then add your oil, water, apple cider vinegar & salt. Set time for 5 mins, Temp 100C, on speed 1

    4. When finished - set timer for 1 min, speed 4 and add arrowroot powder slowly through top of thermomix while on. Wait for about 2 minutes to cool.

    5. Once it's not too hot to the touch, add in your egg. Set time to 15 secs, speed 6 until combined.

    6. Set to Dough mode"Dough mode" setting, time 2 mins and add in your coconut flour (and Italian seasoning, if using) until coconut flour is absorbed and it becomes small dough pieces.

    7. Tip out of mixing bowl onto clean bench. Form the dough into a ball and press or roll out on a parchment lined or lightly greased pizza stone or baking pan. You will have enough dough to do a 12 to 14 inch circle.

    8. Bake 10-12 minutes or just until the crust starts to become a very light golden brown.

    9. Remove from oven, add your toppings and bake for 3-5 more minutes. Enjoy!

Tip

Don't be afraid to add herbs or spices. Would also work well for a Paleo flat bread for dips.

I loved this!!! Am just starting out with Paleo, I was very sceptical and tbh thought I would get definite food envy when watching my family eat their normal bases. Well I was WRONG!! This was yummy!!! Even better then regular, wheat bases.
    Thank you!!

This is a winner in our house. The children can't even tell it's gluten free. I use fresh herbs whatever is in my garden at the time. My go to pizza base. So quick and easy.
