Ingredients

Crackers

  • 1 400g tin chickpeas, Drained
  • 50 grams cornflour
  • 30g Black Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 3/4 level teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 level teaspoon black pepper
  • 20 grams Exra Virgin Olive Oil, Or Coconut Oil

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. 1 Add all ingredients into TM bowl and mix 20sec/ Speed 5.

    2 Scrape down sides and repeat. The dough will still be a bit crumbly.

    3 Place on Thermomat or floured board and knead to bring the dough together. Shape into a ball and place in fridge for about 20 minutes.

    4 Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

    5 To roll out dough fold the Thermomat in half and place dough in the middle of one half or place on board, cover with baking paper and roll until it is about 3mm thick. 

    6 Using no knives on silicon mat cut into small stripes both ways.

    7 Bake for 20 mins or until crisp.

    8 If you'd like a very crisp cracker turn crackers over and bake until brown and crisp.

    These crackers taste great but the colou of them is like a grey and don't look very enticing! Perhaps it was the black sesame seeds that blended too well and changed the color! Next time I'll make them with white sesame seeds, otherwise great flavor and great crunch

    Great recipe. Make in bowl after making veggie stock so did not add extra salt. A crunchy cracker.sorry missed some stars. Definitely 5 star

    Yumm! These are the best crackers i've ever had! I used a mix of poppy seeds, sesame seeds and linseeds for the seed component. I also added some morroccon seasoning.
