Ingredients

Filling

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 brown onion
  • 1 celery stalk, roughly chopped
  • 1 carrot, roughly chopped
  • 30-50 g olive oil
  • 1 tbsp porcini powder, (Dried porcini mushrooms milled until fine powder)
  • 1-2 tbsp Fresh or dried thyme
  • 500 g chicken thighs, diced into 5 cm cubes
  • 200 g Diced Mushrooms
  • 100 g white wine
  • 500 g water
  • 1-2 tbsp TM stock
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Mash

  • 3-4 --- pototoes, peeled and finely diced
  • 1 sweet potato, peeled and finely diced
  • 1 celeriac, peeled and finely diced
  • 20 g Butter
  • 50 g cream
  • salt to taste

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add onion, garlic into bowl and chop 5 sec/ sp 5

    Add celery and carrot and chop 4 sec/ sp 4, scrape down sides of bowl

    Add chicken thighs and mince by pressing briefly 8 - 10 times/1 sec/Closed lid/Turbo

    Add oil, thyme and porcini powder and sautee 5-7mins/ 100C/ sp 1.5

    Add wine and sautee 1 min/ 100C/ sp 1.5

    Add  diced mushrooms, water, TM stock, place Varoma on top with peeled and diced pototoes and cleriac and cook 30-40 min/Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" / VAROMA/ sp 1.5

    When vegetables are cooked transfer meat filling into an oven tray, season to taste with salt & pepper and rinse out TM bowl before adding cooked veggies and pureeing for 20 sec/ sp 4

    Add salt, cream and butter and blend further 20 sec/ sp 3

    Top meat mixture with mashed veggies and bake uncovered for 20 minutes at 190C

     

    Enjoy with a garden salad tmrc_emoticons.)

     

Tip

You can add other veggies and spices/ herbs to your meat filling and experiment with a different mixtures of veggies for the mash - eg: potato & parsnip tmrc_emoticons.)

    Omg worth the effort ❤️ Changed around a bit with what I had in the house; pumpkin & sweet potato for the top, rice wine vinegar instead of wine, and oregano instead of tarragon, fresh mushies instead of porcini powder. And I drained some excess juice before baking. Delish!

    At the end the meat still had a lot of water from the cooking so I removed it with a colander.

    Tasty, yes, if you close your eyes. It's not pretty. But then I did have to cook the meat sauce much longer than expected in order to steam the veg til tender.. I guess I didn't dice the veg finely enough. Why do we have to chop veg by hand anyway, isn't that why I bought a TM? Surely if it's going to be blended later it could be chopped in the TM and set aside at the start. Also had to turn it up to blend properly.

    This is yummo.....I used 2 chicken breasts insteadof thigh and I added zuchhini and fresh mushrooms in step 2.....I didnt have dried porcini mushrooms andit still turned out lovely....I also added some dried tarragon  tmrc_emoticons.)
