Ingredients

Curried Sausages

  • 1 litre water
  • 3-4 Cups of Zucchini Noddles
  • 500 g thin sausages
  • 200 g Celery, Chopped
  • 2 carrots, Chopped
  • 1 brown onion, Halved
  • 20 g olive oil
  • 500 g Almond milk
  • 1 tsp Baba's Meat Curry Powder
  • 45 g almond meal
  • 1 tbsp Vegaetable Stock Paste
  • 1 piece Baking paper

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Add 1 Litre of Water to Bowl

    Add Zucchini Noodles to Steaming Basket and set aside

  2. Add Sausages on to top of Varoma tray with wet baking paper underneath. Keep side vents free

    Add Celery and Carrot to bottom tray. Ensure there is a space for steam to escape

    Remove MC and place Varoma on top of Bowl

  3. Varoma Heat setting, 25 Minutes, Speed 3

    Stop Thermomix with 10 minutes left and add Steaming Tray with Zucchini noodles

    Then continue cooking

  4. Remove Celery and Carrot and place into Thermoserver and set aside

    Set aside Zucchini Noodles in another Thermoserver 

    Check Sausages are cooked if not put on for a futher 10 minutes, Varoma, Speed 3

    Once Sausages are cooked Empty bowl of leftover water

    Cut Sausages into 2cm size pieces and set aside with Veggies

    I leave in the Varoma till ready to add to sauce

  5. Add halved Onion and chop 3 Seconds, Speed 6

  6. Add Oil and simmer 2 Minutes, 100 Degrees,Speed 1

  7. Insert Butterfly and add Babas Meat Curry Powder, Almond Meal and Vegetable Stock Paste and Almond Milk

    Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" 20 Seconds, Speed 3 

  8. Add Sausages and Vegies

    Cook Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" 10 Minutes, 110 Degress, Speed 1.5

  9. Serve on top of Reserved Zucchini Noodles and Baby spinach

  10. Enjoy

Tip

This can be done with Sausage, Chicken Tenderloins and prawns.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

    Awesome recipe, very flavour filled and a hit with my fam, I did the boiled rice on this occasion in a pot on the stove you Top. I'm I real newby with Thermomix and this recipe was a little forgiving with my heavy handed practices. I like that this machine... And recipes have forgiveness. Why did I delay buying this machine xx OMG!
