- 1 carrot
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp vege stock
- 1/4 tsp cloves ground
- 1 can Cannellini Beans

chop onion, garlic and carrot, speed 5 for 2 seconds
Add tomatoes and juice from can, stock and ground cloves, cook 100 degrees, 15 minutes, speed 3
Puree 30 seconds speed 9
add drained cannellini beans, cook 5 minutes 100 degrees, reverse spoon speed

Well that went Down Very Well
But I could NOT resist a bit of fiddle, added a stick of Celery (for the "greens") and substitute Worchestier Sauce ( oh you know, acoulple of shakes of the bottle! - ? 1Tabsp) for cloves.
On toast and melted cheese! great friday night dinner
Need to add another can of beans. It was very soupy
made this recipe in our new thermi, holds true for the new model and is amazingly tastey
Very thick, nice flavour but the kids weren't keen, I think because it was so much thicker than tinned beans and not a lot of beans to sauce. Next time I would add water and halve tomato and carrot. I also sautéed the onion and garlic.
My family loves the baked beans, sooo easy to make.
I've just had this for breakfast. I think the onion could have been sauted and it needed another tin of beans.
