Spicy Pumpkin and Mushroom Soup

1 medium brown onion, quartered
2 garlic cloves
20g olive oil
1 tbsp chicken or vegetable stock paste
1 tsp paprika
2 tsp sambal oelek
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
400g pumpkin cubed
100g button mushrooms
250g water

Recipe's preparation

Place onion and garlic into mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of bowl with spatula.

Add olive oil, stock paste, paprika, sambal oelek, salt and pepper and cook 5 min/100°/speed 1, without MC.

Add pumpkin and mushrooms and chop 10 seconds/speed 7.

Add water and cook 20 minutes/100°/speed 1.

Blend for 30 sec/speed 5, gradually increasing to speed 9.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
