- 70 grams cheddar cheese, cubed
- 240 grams plain flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 100 grams Butter, diced
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 heaped tablespoon water

1 Grate cheese 6 sec spd 9
2. Add flour, salt. Blend 10 sec spd 5
3. Add Butter, closed lid, turbo 5 times
4.Turn to spd 3 & pour egg yolks & water through mc hole until it looks like grains (few seconds) Scrape down the sides.
5. Combine Spd 3, 8 sec
6. Knead 30-40 sec. Empty dough on to glad wrap. Roll into ball, wrap and place in fridge or 20 min to firm up
7. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius. Roll out dough on a floured board until 1/2 cm thick.
8. Grab the kids and get them to start cutting shapes using their favourite cookie cutters. The smaller shapes are crispier and taste better.
9. Place on a tray with baking paper and cook for 10-15 mins (until golden).
10. Cool on a wire rack.
11. Enjoy!
Tip
These biscuits are great for kids parties or lunch boxes. They keep for a couple of days in an airtight container. You can use them with dips, as a crouton for smoked salmon and cream cheese or topped with chicken, ham, dips etc. Recipe created by Cmailla Baker for kidspot.
