Recipe's preparation

  1. Place all ingredients in TM Bowl, Mix for 5 secs / Speed 2

  2. Set aside for 15 mins to allow seeds to absorb the water.

  3. Line baking tray with baking paper, Bake for 1 hour at 170C

  4. Leave cracker to cool down in the oven. Remove and break into bite size.

Tip

By leaving it in the oven to cool down it dries out the cracker more making it crunchy. I usually like to bake this at night and let it rest in the oven overnight.

Try with other ingredients such as:

Chia seeds or dried fruit.

If using Dried fruit.

Chia Seed bulk up the ingredient quatity, takes longer to dry out/cook, but end result is worth it. You get more crackers in a batch.

Place fruit and chop before adding the rest of the ingredients.

Can be made in TM31, TM21

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

These are absolutely delicious!! I used two trays and rolled gently with more baking paper on the top to ensure they were thin and even. They were crisp straight away because I did this I think.
this will be a staple. Salt level was good.
there taste exactly the same as they packet used to by at $9.00

Thank you Shazw1 for this recipe. Made them last night and very impressed. You didn't specify size of tray but as I wanted thinner crackers I put them on my 390cm x 320cm overn tray and they were still a bit pliable in the middle. No problem I picked off the edges, broke up the middle and put it back in oven for another 15 mins and until oven cooled down. Perfect. I think next time I'll use 2 trays and spread them out thinner. Oh and I halved the salt after reading previous comments. Will be a regular in my household.

I had marked this page weeks ago and wish I had found the time to make them weeks ago! So easy. I don't like sunflower seeds so used what I had in the cupboard instead. Poppy, sesame, chia and some pepita's. I will make again but make them thinner as mine were quite thick, possibly the chia bulked them up a bit? I did grind some salt on the top as I felt it needed it. I will have a better guage next time and will probably use 2 trays. Thanks for the recipe!

So disappointed. These were so salty and thick. Next time I’ll reduce the salt and use two trays.

Made these today and they are great! Taste and texture is just like a $9 bag of seed crackers I bought the other day. Will be making again. Thank you

These crackers are so simple and absolutely delicious. I have and will be making these as a weekly staple. The only thing is I would leave out the salt because I think they are salty without the added tablespoon.

These are great! at first some of my family thought they looked a little too healthy for them but they some how magically disappeared from the container.
