Hi Sharleen, sorry for the delay in responding. You can let it rise for an hour, I'm usually in a hurry to get it baked before I get distracted by the family, so I usually put it straight in the oven. It will work either way. I use dried instant yeast.

A very nice textured bread that I'll certainly make again. The dough is quite wet so I scraped it straight into the tin. I left it to prove for 1 hour before baking but it didn't rise much anyway so next time will just pop it straight into the hot oven.
Hi, when and how long do you let it rise? And is it dried instant yeast you use?
