2. Pierce each of the sausages with a knife/fork a couple of times and place in Varoma and Varoma tray
3. Place water 1000g (1L) in bowl and then place Varoma into position and cook for 20mins - Varoma temperature, speed 2
4. Remove Varoma - allow sausages to cool a little before cutting to desired size
5. Discard water from TM bowl.
Curry mix -
6. Add garlic to TM bowl and chop 3 secs on speed 5
7. Add onions and turbo 2 secs (once or twice) to get chunky onion pieces, open and scrape down the bowl
8. Add butter and curry powder to bowl and saute for 3 mins - Varoma temperature gentle stir setting "Gentle stir setting"
9. Add apple and saute for a further 3 mins, Varoma temperature, speed 1 reverse "Counter-clockwise operation"

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

This one was a hit at my house this week. So quick, easy and delicious! Heaps tastier than any fake packet stuff.
Absolutely amazing! Defentliy a must try, and plenty of leftovers
Just what I needed to use up the other half of a pack of sausages.
I steamed carrots and zucchini over the sausages, and added celery with the apple.

I made this the other night, The apple was truely an unexpected yummy surprise. I have never used apple before. My husband absolutely LOVED this meal! Deffiently a new favourite in my family. We decided to cook the sausages seperately in a fry pan. Thank you !
I never thought I'd find a curried sausages recipe I like in the thermomix, but this is it! Delicious! Will be a on the regular rotation now.
So good, I blended the apple with the onion and added a touch of sour cream at the end. It was a winner.
I also grilled the snags, didn't bother cooking them in the thermo.
I made this the other night, it turned out amazing, the right texture, etc. I usually make my curried sausages with chicken stock though, so I didn't really like the beef stock, but other than that this recipe is similar to the one I usually do on the stove but im so excited I can do it with my Thermo 😊 ill do it with chicken stock next time ❤
So delicious! A couple of little tweaks here and there for personal taste, and everyone loves this delightful classic! Thank you for sharing.
