I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Using pre purchased lamb mince or i like to make my own from a small 1.2kg leg,cut the skin and fat from lamb and debone then cut lamb into 2-3 cm cubes and put in the freezer to partially freeze whilst preparing other steps (this makes it easier to mince)

    2. add all herb ingredients into a small bowl and mix

    3. add garlic, onion into mixing bowl and chop 5 seconds speed 7

    4. scrape down sides and add oil and saute for 2 minutes veroma speed 1

    5. take lamb out of freezer and add to bowl and mince for 10 seconds speed 7

    6. add herb mixture and eggs and mix for 5 seconds speed 5

    7. pour some flour onto thermomat or cutting board and empty mixture, roll and flatten to desired size, mixture can make up to 8 burger patties

    8. cook under grill or pan fry but i like to cook on my weber Q cook one side then turn and add dijon mustard and grated cheeseand allow to melt whilst cooking

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

These were great, kids ate them without anything on top, enough flavor to satisfy, but not too much to kill what ever it is wit1h. I had no crayene pepper so I used half a teaspoon of chilli flakes instead. Will be using this recipe again

My wife made the Bread rolls in the thermie and i highly recommend this as they are super fresh with no additives, there are lots of recipes on here for rolls,we also toasted the rolls on the Weber Q and just added lettuce and tomato
