Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Really easy and tasty. A great dish for meatless Mondays. 😋
Absolutely delicious !!! I put them in air fryer for 10 minutes on 180 degrees!!
LOVE the idea of cooking them in the sandwich press! Thanks for the tip!

So delicious
Great flavours. I swapped breadcrumbs for almond meal and didn't coat in flour. Reading the other comments I made them smaller rather than 4 large and cooked in a large frypan on banking paper. Turned out great!
Only thing I didn't like was the texture, so next time I won't leave in the thermo for as long to mix/stir/combined So the are not puréed and it's more chunky.
Easy, quick and delicious
Having read the comments I also tried cooking them in the toasted sandwich maker using baking paper. They were really delicious and very easy. I will definitely make them again.
Easy & tasty. The cumin complements the lentils nicely & gives the recipe a great flavor. I rested mine in the fridge then used a sandwich press lined with baking paper to cook instead of frying with oil or dusting with flour. I made them smaller to make more patties. A couple turned out really thin so I cooked them longer to go harder and turned them into biscuits which were also extremely tasty. All up they turned out a treat. Will be making these again
