Ingredients

Cheese Sauce

  • 30 g Butter
  • 15 g flour
  • 235 g Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Thermomix Stock or Salt
  • 5-10 slices jalepenos, (canned or jar)
  • 1 tsp jalepenos juice (from the can or jar)
  • 4 drops Tabasco sauce
  • 160 g American Style Orange Cheddar Cheese, (Kraft Singles work as well)

  1. Add all ingredients except the Cheese 7 mins/90’C/Speed 4. Add cheese and mix Speed 5/ 5 sec – Cook for a further 1 min/90’C/Speed 4 – Serve Hot with Nacho Corn Chips

    Great recipe! I didn't have jalapeños so just used s long green chilli! I did add an extra teaspoon of stock and a close to a teaspoon in sugar and it was delish!

    My husband asked me to thank you for the recipe.  He can't have many packaged or processed foods so nacho sauce has been off of the menu for years! He loved it tmrc_emoticons.)  I added an extra 10g of flour & 1/2 a tsp of a homemade nacho seasoning & used 180g of mozzarella cheese instead of the American orange cheese. The nacho seasoning has chili, garlic, onion, oregano, paprika, ground cumin, salt & pepper in it. So it gave the sauce a nice oragne hue. Great idea! Thanks for posting!
