I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add 500g of water in Thermomix bowl

Add salmon to the bottom tier in the varoma, spread on mustard and sprinkle of dill

Add vegetables to the top tier of Varoma

Steam on varoma temp for 15 - 17 mins speed 3-4.

Tip

You can season the Salmon with what you like - we also like to coat each fillet with macadmia oil and sprinkle on moroccan seasoning - also we use the top tier for cous cous warming and vegetables in TM basket

Super easy and delicious. I was making 5 salmon portions - they all fit (just) on the top tray of the varoma, and were still perfectly cooked in 15 minutes. I did carrots and asparagus on the bottom of the varoma, only adding the asparagus for the last 3 minutes of cooking.

Quick and delicious! Am making again tonight with potatoes in the simmering basket Smile I prefer to buy skin-off salmon for this recipe.

Very nice, I made it with skinnymixer's sweet potato mash - awesome and easy tmrc_emoticons.)

Delicious outcome. I combined this with a leek, sweet potato soup in the bowl and vegetables in the middle tray. I took out the vegetables and kept them warm with fish in the thermo server while having soup. A lovely meal and so healthy.  tmrc_emoticons.)

This time I made a paste of one ts each of mustard and horseraddish and dill paste from the tube. I had beans in the basket and carrots and zuchinni in the dish with the fish in the tray on glad paper. All cooked in 17 minutes and was delicious.

This was really yummy!  I used wholegrain mustard and dill and put it on the top of varoma with wet baking paper underneath it so the juices didn't go onto the veggies below. Worked great but may do it a bit less than 15 mins next time as we like our salmon less done. Great recipe and will try other varieties too.

Perfectly cooked every time. I cook vegies on bottom tray as the liquid can make the salmon soggy
