- 1 sachet Yeast
- 5 grams sugar
- 500 grams bakers flour, (oo flour)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 70 g oil
- anchovy fillets

- 1. Place water, yeast, sugar in TM bowl mix for 90sec at 37°C, speed 1
2. Add rest off ingrediants except anchovies and mix for 25 sec on speed 6.
3. Set dial to closed lid postion"Closed lid" knead for 2min on interval speed "Dough mode"
4. Place dough into oiled bowl cover, let rise for1-2hrs
5.In heavy pot, heat oil. Place an anchovy in middle of dough. Fold dough over and make a ball. Add to hot oil and deep fry until cooked and golden brown.
Tip
The zeppoli will keep up to 4 hours but they are best served warm. You can choose to apply any flavuoring you desire….sugar, honey, melted nutella, confectioner’s sugar. The possibilities are endless. Have fun experimenting!
