I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
To make the cupcakes:
Preheat the oven to 180oC. Line four cupcake pans with paper liners (48 total). In the TM bowl , combine the butter and brown sugar. Beat together on speed 5-6 for 20-30 seconds until light and fluffy. Mix in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition and scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
Combine the flour, baking powder and baking soda on speed 3, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients, mixing each addition just until incorporated. Blend in the vanilla. Add in the chocolate chips on reverse and speed 2.
Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cupcake liners. Bake for 15 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan 5-10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
To make the cookie dough filling:
Combine the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl and cream on speed 4-5 for 20-40 seconds until light and fluffy. Beat in the flour , sweetened condensed milk and vanilla on spped 4 until incorporated and smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips on reverse and speed 1. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until the mixture has firmed up a bit, about an hour.
To fill the cupcakes:
Cut a cone-shaped portion out of the center of each cupcake. Fill each hole with a chunk of the chilled cookie dough mixture.
To make the icing:
Beat together the butter and brown sugar in the TM bowl for 20-40 seconds on speed 5-6 until creamy. Mix in the icing sugar on speed 5-6 until smooth. Beat in the flour, milk and vanilla extract on speed 5-6 until smooth and well blended.

Cute, but way too sweet!
Instructions incomplete so had to wing it in some parts (in terms of times)
They were time consuming to make (a lot longer than the 25 mins indicated), but did look impressive.
These were too sickly sweet for us to eat after all that effort put into them, which was sad.
I made this without the cookie dough filling and they still tasted great. I halved the ingredients and it made 17 cupcakes. i used mini chocolate chip cookies from Aldi
These were AMAZING! i halvedthe recipe to make 12 stabdard cupcakes and they were very yum!
Thanks for sharing.
Super delicious thank you for sharing
Patsy McCafferty
thank you they turned out good
EThese are so good
I made these for my sons birthday. They were absolutely delicious. I have never had cookie dough icing before, but it was definitely a winner! BTW the recipie is a conversion to Thermomix of a recipe that is already on the internet. In that recipe it was equal amounts of baking soda, and baking powder.
Wow! This article was so amazing. I really enjoyed reading this, I hope that I could see more article like this. Thanks. order twitter followers
Hi there, how much of baking soda? It doesn't say in the ingredients but it's on step 2 of the cupcake process. Thanks!
Really good cupcakes. I halved recipe and made 12 standard size cakes, but had lots of spare icing , so have freezed it for next time. Also added a half espresso shot to icing and it went so well with cupcakes. With spare cookie dough (also had lots left) I made biscits out of them, cooked in oven for about ten mins. Really yommy. Thanks .
