Ingredients
Meatballs
- 60 grams bread, fresh or stale, cut into pieces
- 9-15 sprigs fresh parsley leaves
- 2 cloves garlic
- 600 grams chicken breast, cut into5cm pieces
- 1 egg
- 3/4 teaspoons salt
- 2 pinches black pepper, freshly ground
Tomato Pasta Sauce
- 2 cloves garlic
- 100 grams brown onion
- 45 grams extra virgin olive oil
- 1200 grams crushed/diced tomatoes, canned
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 3 pinches black pepper, freshly ground
- 400 grams water
- 200 grams pasta of choice

- Place parsley and garlic (optional) and 60 g bread, fresh or stale, cut into pieces (see Tips) into mixing bowl and chop 7 sec/speed 7. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
- Add 600 g chicken breast, eggs, salt and pepper. Turbo/ 2 sec repeat until chicken is mince to your liking. Transfer into a bowl.
- Lightly grease Varoma dish and tray. With wet hands, shape small meatballs (4 cm) and divide them between Varoma dish and tray. Set Varoma aside.
- Place garlic, onion and extra virgin olive oil into mixing bowl and chop 7 sec/speed 5, then sauté 3 min/120°C/speed 1.
- Add crushed tomatoes,400g water, salt and pepper. Place Varoma into position, secure Varoma lid and cook 10 min/Varoma/speed 1.
- Remove Varoma® and place 200g pasta of choice into tomato sauce. Replace Varoma® and cook 10 min/Varoma//speed 1. Serve meatballs hot with tomato pasta sauce.

This recipe has been adapted from the meatballs in tomato sauce recipe from cookidoo. I havent taken a picture of the dish yet. Hence the picture from cookidoo.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -
