Ingredients

Variation Impossible Quiche

  • 150 grams Tasty cheese, Roughly chopped
  • 2 leeks - white part only, Sliced into 1-2cm rounds
  • 100 grams plain flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 300 grams Vegetables of choice, Eg zucchini, carrot, broccoli Roughly chopped
  • 400 grams Milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 bunch asparagus, Halved length ways
  • 20 grams olive oil

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C

    Grate cheese 2 seconds, speed 7 & set aside.

    Place vegetables in TM bowl & chop, 3 seconds, speed 5. Set aside with cheese.

    Weigh leeks and oil into TM bowl and Saute 5 minutes, 120°C, speed 1 Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"

    Add reserved grated cheese & vegetables and flour into the TM bowl & mix all together, 20 seconds, speed 5 Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" .

    Place into base of greased ovenproof dish and spread out.

    Crack eggs into TM bowl
    Weigh in milk
    Mix speed 4/5 secs
    Pour into oven dish on top of cheese base

    Decorate with sliced asparagus

    Cook on 180°C for 45 minutes or until golden brown & set.

Tip

Serve with a side salad for a main meal or on its own for a breakfast dish.Finely chopped parsley can also be added for extra colour.
