N.b. The photo is not mine - we ate it too fast after a day of horseriding... I'll upload a photo of mine next time I make it!!
Tip
You can easily make a double batch of the sauce only in the TM5 by not putting the pasta in the thermomix and instead cooking the pasta either beforehand using the BCB recipe for boiled pasta or by making the pasta on the stovetop while the sauce is cooking.

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

I am a newcomer to Thermomix, having received mine yesterday, so only an amateur. I made this meal and we liked it, the flavour was great, however I found the chicken to be a little tough and well, boiled. I left the meal in the warming bowl and while it cooked the pasta more, it seemed to soften the chicken a little. My question, is there a way to ‘saute’ the meat to give it a bit of colour?
Thanks Chooky77, glad you enjoyed it!
Glad you enjoyed it Relle, yes make sure you don't dice your chicken too small or it can shred... Alternatively you can use thigh which stays a little more intact - personally I don't like the flavour of thigh so I use breast
This was delicious. Thank you for sharing
Very tasty, ideal for a quick meal for the family during the week. I have only had my thermomix for a week. Next time I will not cut my chicken as small, I think that would make it even better.
