I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180° & line a baking tray with baking paper

Prepare pastry by cutting both sheets in half horizontally

    Mash:

Place 1L water into bowl. Place potatoes into simmering basket & insert basket into Thermomix bowl. Cook 15min Varoma sp4 MC on

Pour water out of bowl, insert butterfly, add in the potato, milk, butter, salt & Babas meat curry powder & mix 20sec sp3. If still a little lumpy, mix for a further 5 seconds (sp3) at a time to avoid it turning gluey. Remove butterfly if you like

    Add in vegetables, 5-7sec sp2 Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"

Place a thick line of potato mixture onto the bottom of each pastry piece, brush the edge with egg wash & roll & seal.

Place each roll onto baking tray, cut into thirds, brush with egg wash & sprinkle sesame seeds on top

Bake 20-25min or until golden. Each oven will vary. Cool and enjoy!

Tip

For extra flavour, grate some Parmesan before adding potato. You would add the Parmesan upon mixing with the rest of the ingredients

Thermomix Model

    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
