    Thanks

I made these but didn't use the vit c, but they were really scone like and dense even when straight out the oven. Is leaving the vit c out where I went wrong??

    Not so soft.

I love these but found that they baked too hard rather than soft and fluffy that I was after. I suspect cooking time should be reduced? Suggestions appreciated. I would love to make them again as my kids inhale the bought ones and I'd love to find a reliable reciepe to make them myself every week

    Thanks

Cooked with foil over top of rolls as bacon was burning. Still a little overcooked. Consider lowering temp and/or reducing cooking time

These are devine. used bread improver instead of vitamin c and they were all gone not long out of the oven. Made another batch today without the bacon and cheese toppings and they werejust as good!

These were amazing!  Accidently left them to prove for two hours.  Were soft and beautiful.  Used 1T bread improver instead of Vit C. Used extra bacon and cheese and next time will put through dough as well.

Just wondering if you could please tell me where to buy flavourless vitamin c powder please? And also, what exactly does 'knock back' the dough mean? Clearly I'm not a seasoned baker, but these look amazing and easy even for me!!
