I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

  1. Chop Chilli, Ginger, onion and Garlic on Speed 7 for 3 seconds, place into a seperate bowl and set aside

    Do not wash the bowl

For TM5 add the water, rice and stock and cook via the automated recipe, for TM31 add as above but cook as per EDC instructions

Whilst rice is heating up, start chopping all other ingredients (no need to chop corn and bamboo shoots), add to the Varoma the Carrot, Celery Capsicum, baby corn and bamboo shoots in that order. Place Varoma on when there is 15 mins left cooking time of the rice. At 5 mins to go add the Bok Choy.

Once you have placed the Varoma onto the bowl, turn the heat onto a fry pan and heat some oil of your choice.

Add the garlic, chilli mix to the pan to brown.

Once browned add the vegetables, rice and sauces and stir through to combine.

Tip

You will need a Large Frying Pan for this

Any vegetables you have are fine, add what you have

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Omitted ABC sauce and added some shredded chicken. I was able to have all veges chopped, sauces mixed and rice pre prepared so all I do now is through it all together and  presto dinner is served  tmrc_emoticons.) Cooking 10

Yummy. I didn't have the ABC sauce and added a chopped up omlette (with a little soy sauce) for protein. Thanks
