I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
1. Place onion, carrots and garlic in TM bowl and chop 5 seconds, speed 5. Scrape down sides of bowl and repeat if you want the carrots chopped finer.
2. Scrape down sides of bowl, add oil and sauté for 3 minutes, varoma, speed 1, MC OFF.
3. Add tomato pesto or paste and cook for 2 minutes, varoma, speed 1, MC OFF.
4. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, and stock and cook for 5 minutes, 100 degrees, soft spoon (slowest speed), MC ON.
5. Place mince into the internal steaming basket. Spoon some of the sauce over the top of the mince and put the basket inside the TM bowl with the sauce in the bowl underneath. Cook for 15 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1. About halfway through cooking break up mince with a fork.
6. Remove the internal steaming basket and tip mince out of basket and into the TM bowl with the sauce. Add mushrooms and use a spatula to stir the mince and mushrooms down into the sauce. Cook for 4 minutes, 100 degrees, reverse, soft spoon (slowest speed).

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

I had no idea spag bol could taste so good made in a thermomix!
So easy and loved by everyone - its a new staple in our home.
Thanks for the recipe
Thanks It’s my go-to spag bol and everyone in our household loves it.
This is our go to Spag Bol, my fussy kids and hubby love it! I add some Italian herbs but other than that I follow the exact recipe. We love how the mince is cooked in the basket so it isnt mushy! Thanks Tanya 🙋🏼♀️😊
Yum thanks for the recipe, kids are going to love it!
i just added in a small spoon of basil pesto and tastes great
I have tried a lot of Thermomix Spag Bol recipes. This is hands down my favourite. Thank you!
Very happy with this recipe. Love the consistency of the meat. I added frozen veggies instead of mushrooms and paprika for extra spice. Delicious
This is delicious! My eight year old is very fussy re Bolognese sauces but loved this one (as did my three year old).
I had no mushrooms but added celery and red capsicum.
My mince was only 430gm so I added some rinsed and soaked lentils and quinoa.
Delicious!
Wow, this is a must try. The mince was chunky like it should be. Hubby always says the TM turns everything to mush but this met his expectations!! Def give it a go. I have shared this with all my TM friends, too. Thanks so much
Made a few spaghetti recipes in my TM, including chunky ones. But seriously, this one is the best and one I will be going back to all the time. So simple. So easy and so tasty!! Thanks
Everyone loved this in our house tonight, I added some dried tarragon and ground oregano it was perfect. Thank you 😊
