Recipe's preparation

    Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 150°C.
Set aside a large baking tray.
  2. Place large bowl on mixing bowl lid and open scales.
Weigh in nutri grain & pretzels. Set aside.
  3. Add soup mixes and curry powder to thermomix. 30 sec/speed 9.
    Set aside in small bowl.
  4. Add 250g oil of choice (I use a light tasting olive oil). Replace lid and measuring cup and heat up oil 2 mins/70°C/speed 2.
  5. Add soup mixes and curry powder. Replace lid and measuring cup then mix 20 seconds/speed 3.
  6. Add the nutrigrain mixture & nuts to baking tray and pour over the heated oil mixture. Mix well.
  7. Bake in a slow oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and stir. Add nuts. Bake for a further 20 -25 minutes or to taste. Stir a couple of time during the baking stage to prevent burning.
  8. Allow to cool on the tray. Store in an airtight container.

    TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
