Thank you this recipe is perfect light and fluffy. made in my TM5. A keeper.
Theses scones are a winner in this household!!! Delicious.
Actually tried another butter milk scone recipe last week which was a disappointment. Found your recipe Thermiefanatic and made them today to use the remaining butter milk. I added some chopped dates but they ended up as specks lol. Texture was wonderful - light and fluffy as promised. Recipe is now in my favourites folder. Rate them 5 out of 5.

Made these for granddaughters when they had sleepover this weekend. They ate them 'naked'. Didn't even want butter, jam or any topping. Definitely will make again. Thanks for recipe.
Lovely and easy!
Made these the other day with wholemeal SR flour, they turned out very very nice. Thank you.

LOVE these, I have to cook for Gluten Free kids so Orgrans GF Self Rising flour did it for me! Very bouncy and topped with dates! Went down a great treat - thanks so much
