I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- Place water and yeast into bowl, select warm up mode "Warm Up" 37c at speed 1.
- Weigh flour into bowl,
- Place salt, bread improve and butter.
- Use dough mode"Dough mode" for 4 minutes.
- Place dough into Thermomix silicone mat and wrap loosely to proof. Or place in a lightly oiled bowl and cover. Proof until doubled in size - approximatelt 40-60 minutes pending the weather.
- Once proofed, shape into a loaf and place in bread tin. Cover with silicone mat to proof for 20-30minutes or until rised. Halfway through the proofing, turn on the oven to 180c.
Tips: This recipe fits in the Mix shop bread tin. See my instagram for tips with shaping. - Bake bread at 180c for 25minutes or until lightly browned on top. Once out of the oven tip the bread loaf out of the tin onto a cooling rack. If you tap the bottom of the bread loaf, it should sound hollow - this means it is cooked. Don't forget to take it out of the tin to cool otherwise it sweats. Allow the bread to cool before you cut it, the residual heat inside the loaf continues to cook the bread.
- How amazing is butter on warm bread? This is what dreams are made of Don't forget to share my recipe.

TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
